9th October 2004 Windsurfing: Ynas... Wind Direction: Wind Stength: 25knts Surf / Sea State: Flat, some chop Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Turned up late and hung over. Decided to rig my own kit so I could just enjoy the sail. Had a scream, sailed over to the far side a couple of times, just to have a look, but it was pretty gusty and choppy over there. Scared myself silly leaving the launching spot and screaming down wind to keep in the deeper water broad reaches are fine, but I was scared of running aground and catapulting (again) into 8" of water. Great fun though. Once the wind dropped I had to leave to get home at a decent time. Still took 5 hrs though! |
